What do you do?

I sometimes wonder if that might be one of the most frequently asked questions, probably falling close behind “How are you?” and “Who are you?”

So what do I do? I am a marcommer. I’m a mix of creative strategy and fresh ideas that blends together to help my clients’ achieve their bottom line goals and achieve a return on their marketing investment. Marketing communications is an analytical, calculated approach to imagining, inventing, and creating an idea that is so powerful, it shapes how the people who see it view your world.

Sure, in the textbook sense of marketing’s four Ps – price, product, placement, and promotion, marketing communications primarily concentrates on the promotion aspect of marketing, but as far as words go, promotion grossly oversimplifies what marketing communications can mean for your business.
